Established on 1st September 2014, the company has come a long way. Claudia Pacurar, Sebastian Stefan, and Sebastian Morar are the founders of Load Me. Load Me is also known as Uber for trucks. The company mainly works inthe automotive, logistics, and transportation industries. The headquarters of the company are in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Valuation & Funding

On November 5th, 2018 Load Me- the UAE-based company had raised around $1 Million for its Series A type of funding.  The transaction was made for its shipping and transportation marketplace. “Load-Me makes money by selling subscriptions to transporters that allow them to post details of trucks or loads that are available to connect them with potential buyers. The platform has a freemium subscription model, with the paid annual plans starting from 239 dirhams per month ($65). The website is free to use for load owners, though.” according to Menabytes. The funding for Load Me is around $7.6 million by this year. The investors of the company are DP World, PVP, DGI, Angel Investors.

Rank, Feature, and News

Load Me bagged the 38th rank in the list of the Middle East’s 50 most funded startups. Started in 2014, the total funding the company has made is around $7.6 million. The features of the company are Asia early-stage companies, Asia startups, University of Bucharest Alumni Founded Companies, and TURN8 Portfolio Companies. In the year 2016, Load Me raised $360,000 / Seed from Hans Schreuder and Prime Venture Partners, which made it to the news.
