India-based smart calling platform Callify.ai pulled in $560K seed funding from investors, including UAE- based Calega Ventures

Based in Mumbai, Callify.ai, a smart calling platform for working professionals, raised $560K in a seed funding round led by Malpani Ventures. Investors, including startup incubator and accelerator, Venture Catalysts, UAE-based Calega Ventures, the Marvari Angel Network, and the Chennai Angel Network participated in the round.

About Callify.ai

Founded by Chetan Indap in 2016, Callify is an industry-agnostic, voice-powered technology for working professionals that facilitates them to automate their day-to-day outbound phone interactions through modern technology such as Speech AI and virtual assistants. It enables users to screen leads without calling, reduce the cost-per-hire, increase closure rates and conduct performance data analysis, thereby wiping out over 70% of wasted or unproductive time.

This makes Callify an essential tool in any job that requires outbound interactions throughout the day like HRs, operations, marketing, sales, etc. At present, Callify works with global brands like NTT Data, HDFC Bank, Accenture, ICICI Prudential, Orange Telecom, Kelly Services, HCL, and Allegis, among others.

Winning trust and appreciation from Venture Catalysts

Dr. Apoorv Ranjan Sharma, Co-founder, and President of Venture Catalysts said “Callify has single-handedly intensified user productivity by automating tedious and transactional daily tasks, freeing them to devote their time to their core strength of sourcing, engaging, and closing. “The strong background and expertise of the Callify.ai team helped to turn a promising idea into an innovative and marketable product that aims to simplify the outbound call-centric workload across industries,” he added.

Future plans

Callify plans to use the capital in strengthening its presence in the human resources technology sector and recreate its technological infrastructure to address use-cases across several other industries.
