Eid Al Adha is less than a week away and it is the perfect time for UAE residents to take advantage of special holiday tours to quarantine-free destinations around the globe. The Eid holidays are expected to kick off on Tuesday, July 20, stretching to Thursday, July 22. If you have the weekends off, you definitely need to make the most of this long break.

Your top-10 quarantine-free destinations for this Eid-

1. Serbia

If you are looking to travel somewhere off the tourist radar, this landlocked country, situated on the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe, might be your best place. Its capital, Belgrade, is one of the oldest cities of Europe and is known for its architecture, museums, galleries, and abundant eateries. It is nearly six hours from Dubai, and both Flydubai and Emirates are operating routes. Flights start from AED 2,400 during Eid. Vaccinated travelers need not have to quarantine if they can produce proof of their final shot of any Covid-19 vaccine from a recognized authority.

2. Albania

It is an emerging popular destination due to its mountain scenery, sandy beaches, rich history, and crumbling castles. It is located on the Adriatic sea and the Ionian sea within the Mediterranean sea, and shares borders with Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Greece. You can get there in less than six hours and Flydubai runs a route to Tirana, with fares starting from AED 2,550 during Eid. You need not do a PCR test to Albania but will need a PCR test to return.

3. Georgia

Another up-and-coming travel favorite for UAE residents, Georgia is located at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. You are bound to get struck by its rich culture, stunning high mountain range, and local cuisine. The capital, Tbilisi, is famed for its picturesque Old Town and extensive architecture. Flydubai will get you to Tbilisi in three-and-a-half hours, with fares starting from AED 2,135 during the Eid break. Visitors need to have a Covid-19 vaccination certificate with their final shot or have a PCR test was taken no less than 72 hours prior to travel.

4. Seychelles

A popular attraction for tourists due to its blue waters, beautiful sandy beaches, giant tortoises, and exotic wildlife, ticking this place off your list will be a disappointment. Regular flights operate from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Mahe, with a flight time of about four-and-a-half hours. During Eid, Emirates will get you there from Dubai for AED 2,640 (one way). Visitors need to have a PCR test taken no less than 72 hours prior to travel.

5. Montenegro

This minuscule country is located on the Adriatic Sea and is a part of the Balkans, and shares borders with Serbia, Herzegovina, and Bosnia. The country offers you a package of mountains, beaches, and underwater caves. During Eid, flights from Dubai start from AED 3,000. You need to have a negative PCR or a double-vaccination certificate.

6. Bosnia

Bosnia and Herzegovina lie in the western Balkan Peninsula of Europe. It attracts tourists for its picturesque villages and ottoman architecture. If you are an active traveler, its mountainous scenery offers great opportunities for mountain biking and rock climbing. With a flight time of six hours from Dubai to Sarajevo, Emirates fares start at about AED 1,550 during Eid. Visitors need to have a negative PCR test or a double-vaccination certificate.

7. Armenia

Packed with temples, lakes, hiking spots, coffee farms, and art galleries, you won’t be running out of activities to engage in. It is a short three-hour hop from Dubai. Flydubai fares start from AED 500 (one way) during Eid. Visitors need to have a negative PCR or a double-vaccination certificate.

8. Maldives

The Maldives is an idyllic world-renowned getaway to completely switch off. You can relax on the white sandy beaches under the breezy palm trees or go snorkeling to spot the rich marine life. Only four hours from UAE, both Dubai and Abu Dhabi have flights to the capital, Male. With Flydubai, you can get there for as little as AED 1,7738 over Eid (one way). All travelers need to produce a negative PCR test.

9. Zanzibar

The laid-back paradise of Zanzibar is home to rich local culture, white sandy beaches and giant tortoises. For the more active travelers, there are stunning spots to learn kite- surfing. With Flydubai Eid fares starting from AED 1,500, you get direct flights from Dubai to Zanzibar island for the five-and-a-half-hour flight. 10. Greece

Travelers need to have a PCR test at least 24 hours prior to leaving the UAE.
