The budget airline is offering one-way tickets from Dh399, including taxes, but excluding check-in luggage or carry-on trolleys, which can be added for a charge. On Mondays and Fridays, flights will depart from the UAE capital. It’s no wonder that Santorini, with its famous whitewashed towns and beautiful blue-domed roofs, is a favourite tourist destination across the world.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is now offering secure, efficient, hassle-free, and ultra-low-fare travel alternatives for UAE citizens seeking a Hellenistic vacation, according to an agreement between the UAE and Greece Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s managing director, Kees van Schaick, stated. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s new route is the airline's third in Greece, but it is first to the Greek islands. The low-cost carrier already has two weekly flights to Greece from the UAE, going to Athens and Thessaloniki. Low-cost airlines operate flights.  Dubai declared that it will begin flying straight from Dubai to Santorini.

Passengers should follow the following guidelines:

Passengers are asked to observe the local health authorities social distancing procedures and are urged to make any pre-flight purchases online (e.g., checked baggage, WIZZ Priority, quick security track) to avoid any possible physical contact at the airport. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi also has two regular weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to Athens and Thessaloniki, Greece. Passengers travelling to Greece must complete a Passenger Locator Form at least 24 hours before arrival. Tourists must provide proof of immunisation or the findings of a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours of arrival.

The second dose of vaccination had to be given at least 14 days before arrival in Santorini. Testing is not required for children under the age of five. Passengers returning to the UAE must undergo a PCR test within 72 hours after departure. All returning visitors must take a new PCR test upon arrival and then follow the emirate’s most up-to-date testing procedures. Children belonging to the age of 12 and below are exempted from testing.
