EXPO 2020 THEME- CONNECTING MINDS, CREATING THE FUTURE

EXPO 2020 Dubai is the universal exhibition that will take place in Dubai, The United Arab Emirates from 21st October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Originally, it was organized for 20th October 2020 – 10th April 2021, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event could not be arranged, still, the event continued to refer as EXPO 2020. The BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) is the intergovernmental organization responsible for the oversight and regulation of all non-commercial international exhibitions, which are held for more than three weeks.
What is Dubai’s EXPO 2020 all about?
EXPO 2020 aims to raise the consciousness about the challenges faced by humankind globally. It is the largest meeting place in the world and offers many opportunities such as networking and fostering international relations. Expo 2020 will feature one-on-one pavilions where countries showcase their national cultures and technological inventions. Dubai is expected to host 190 participating countries, with approximately 25 million visitors worldwide.
What Is The Purpose Of An EXPO?
An exhibition aims to connect countries with innovative and collaborative partnering programs that accelerate and promote solutions that improve lives while protecting the planet. EXPO’s held in every 5 years.
Expo 2020, promotes the preservation of the planet, as well as sustainability, mobility, and possibilities.

Currently, the Terra Pavilion is open for visitors, which aims basically on sustainability, Terra Pavilion was permitting the visitors from 22nd January 2021 & the rest 2 pavilions i.e Mobility& Opportunity are still expected to be opened.

- HOW TO BOOK TICKETS
The countdown for Dubai EXPO had already begun & make sure to collect your tickets as early as possible.

Open 7 days a week to enjoy yourself with no less than 60 daily shows organized in areas managed by the Expo. Performance spaces such as Al Wasl Plaza, three thematic pavilions, parks, and multiple public spaces will be optimized for use. Tickets for this grand event had already begun from April 2021. The one-day tickets cost 120 AED and a three-day ticket will cost 260 AED. Organizers have also planned to introduce seasonal & monthly passes, but the price has not been confirmed yet.
There are various discounts & offers available with Dubai Expo 2020 Tickets. The students of any age are entitled to acquire 50% off
Tickets vary in price, a full-day adult ticket (18 years and older) will cost AED 120 or USD 33, whereas, a three-day pass can be used every three days, out of 173 days of the Expo, will cost 260 AED or 71 USD.
- TIMINGS
The pavilion is open 5 days a week, Tuesdays to Saturdays.
TUESDAY TO THURSDAY from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M.
FRIDAY’s & SATURDAY’s from 4 P.M. to 10 P.M.
Last check-in at 8 P.M. on weekdays and 9 P.M. On weekends.
- WHERE TO STAY DURING A VISIT TO DUBAI EXPO 2020?
If you’re a tourist & need to remain somewhere close to the location, in order to avoid congestion while visiting the Exhibition Site, then you need to keep yourself close to Dubai South, which is close to Al Maktoum Airport. Tourists generally prefer to stay close to Dubai availing facility of the metro, which takes no more than 15 minutes to reach on the site.
The Exact location of the event is at Dubai Exhibition Centre close to the Al Maktoum International Airport.
- HOW TO GET TO THE EXPO 2020 VENUE
- If you find yourself on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), take Exit 20 onto Expo Road (E77).
- From Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road (E311), take Exit 21 towards Expo Road (E77).
- Keep following all the signboards leading towards EXPO 2020
- Once you are closer to the site, you will start to see signage indicating “Sustainable Parking”.
The special metro line Route 2020 should also serve the Expo site soon, with four stations already open in the subway extension.
- PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW
Try to arrive on the site 30 minutes prior to the time mentioned in your ticket
Complete all the essential formalities including, security check, registration & temperature check procedures.
Now start heading towards the Pavilion from the arrival plaza, it takes an almost 4-minute walk.
While heading towards the pavilion you can see the onsite live entertainment as well as you can enjoy food, beverages.
